Digital cutting is miles ahead from traditional cutting activities. It is incredibly flexible, there are no set-up delays and lead-times are extremely short. Quantities can go from very small to medium, from one item to several hundred copies at affordable prices ... at last.
Today, computers are driving both the printing and the cutting table. There is no cutting template to be designed, no delays on set-up and no more waiting. The same digital files are used to drive the printing and the cutting/creasing machines. The cutting table is fully complementing the printer, leading to a well crafted and customised finished product.
The process itself is not completely new, "print & cut" equipment have been on the market for the past few years; they were however dedicated to the cutting of lettering of the production of stickers.
The innovation comes from the fact that the ZUND cutting tables handles just about any material.

There should be no worries when it comes to shapes and sizes: the thickness of substrates is "limited" to 5cm and their width to 180cm.
The table will manage significant length of materials thanks to the conveyor belt that will move the media as the cutting progresses.
Different tools can be inserted in the universal cutting module, supporting any application and cutting many materials. And with up to 3 tools loaded and ready to operate, multiple tasks on a single job, a wide range of products can be delivered
